Chapter Three
" The Inquisitors Journey"
As the sun began to set over the Holy Land of Jerusalem, casting long shadows across the city, a dark and mysterious figure crept through the winding alleyways, keeping a watchful eye on the Templar Grandmaster and his entourage as they began their journey northward towards Scotland. The figure was a man of the church, an inquisitor sent on a sacred mission to root out heresy wherever it may be found.
For months, he had followed the Templars as they made their way across Europe, always just one step behind. He had heard whispers of a great secret they were guarding, hidden deep in the heart of the island of Mull in Scotland. And he was determined to uncover it, no matter the cost.
As they traveled, the inquisitor watched from a distance, never revealing himself to the Templars. They were a dangerous lot, skilled warriors who would stop at nothing to protect their secrets. But he was equally determined, and he followed them relentlessly, always watching, always waiting for the right moment to strike.
The journey was long and treacherous, testing the inquisitor's resolve and his faith to the very limits. He faced harsh and unforgiving conditions, from rugged mountain passes to frigid and desolate valleys. The journey took its toll on him both physically and mentally. Every night, he would rest, and come morning, he would pick up their trail once more, steeling himself for the difficult road ahead.
Finally, as they arrived on the shores of Scotland, the inquisitor knew that he had to act. If they discovered his presence, it would mean certain death. He waited patiently, biding his time until they reached the island of Mull, and then he slipped away into the darkness, his heart pounding with anticipation and excitement at the thought of finally uncovering the secrets that had eluded him for so long.
On a fateful night in the village of Cornwall, nestled beneath the perilous peaks of the snowy mountains, the Inquisitor beheld a sight beyond imagining. From the heavens above, descended the Grand Templar Master atop a majestic Ice Dragon, a sight that stirred awe and wonder in the Inquisitor's heart. In hushed tones, he observed as the knights loaded a great chest onto the dragon's back, and then, as if by magic, both rider and mount vanished into the snowy depths of the night sky.
What secrets did the chest hold? What mission did the Grand Templar Master undertake? The Inquisitor could only wonder and dream of the mysteries that lay beyond the veil of that starry winter's night.
As the inquisitor slipped away into the darkness, his thoughts turned to his next destination. He had heard rumors of a castle called Camelot, a place of great power and secrets, where he could serve at the court of King Arthur. But he knew that gaining favor with the legendary king would not be an easy task. He must be cautious, for danger lurked around every corner, and his mission to root out heresy was far from over.
With a new purpose in his heart, he set forth towards his next adventure, determined to uncover the secrets of Camelot and prove his worth to the king.
